MAIDEN. MOTHER. CRONE. DRAGON.

ASTRID

As an elemental witch, seeing ghosts is the least of Astrid’s problems. Life wasn’t exactly easy growing up, but she was lucky enough to find a coven that provided her with a home, a family, and a rather unique dragon familiar who taught her how to protect herself.

Now living in New York, she’s made a career out of dishing the dirt on celebs with the help of her spirit friends. Yet when her boss mysteriously dies, and his tall, dark, far too handsome for his own good grandson takes over the company, Astrid knows her time in the city is up. Things that go bump in the night never scare her, but Sebastian O’Roarke does, and he isn’t exactly her biggest fan.

SEBASTIAN

After becoming the head of his family's media company, Sebastian's first move is to fire the woman who writes weirdly accurate articles about him and his brothers. No one knows they’re vampires, and her column skirts dangerously close to the truth.

But as soon as Astrid walks through his door, Sebastian realizes she’s his match in every way, a witch whose magic mirrors his own. Treated as a contract benefiting both parties, binding a witch and a vampire's powers can create one of the most formidable unions within the supernatural world. Empires rise. Enemies fall. All thanks to this ancient rite.

Before he can convince her to join him, the pair find themselves thrown into a mystery involving ancient prophecies, a locked grimoire, and the very last unicorn in existence. Nothing is what it seems, and when an unspeakable evil returns to seek revenge, Sebastian and Astrid learn the hard way that fate chooses who lives, destiny decides who dies, and in the end, not even magic can save you.
